Project Management: ZDU, DBU, Immensive SA
In the upcoming temporary exhibition “Collections Invisibles” at the Musée Cantonal d’Archéologie et d’Histoire (MCAH), visitors are invited to embark on an immersive and interactive journey through history. Leveraging a user-friendly touchscreen interface, the exhibition transforms attendees into detectives exploring the annals of history. This project aims to engage and inspire visitors of all ages, making history accessible and exciting.
In the exhibition, visitors will experience an engaging interactive quiz on a user-friendly touchscreen table, focusing on archaeological objects. This quiz covers various aspects such as dating, uses, and materials, encouraging exploration and learning. Upon completion, participants receive instant feedback and can view correct answers, enhancing their historical understanding. The interface ensures accessibility for a diverse audience.
This playful educational tool aligns with MCAH’s mission to make history accessible and enjoyable, inviting visitors to delve into the world of archaeological detective work and appreciate the museum’s collections. Inspired by the application developed at Chateau de La Sarraz, this immersive experience, where visitors play as museum inventory assistants, offers an innovative approach to engaging with history and learning museum tasks in a fun and interactive way.
“We are very happy about our collaboration with Immensive. They paid close attention to our requests and found the best solutions by the deadline. We are totally satisfied with the end result.”
