This development is part of the transformation of the Nyon train station reception area into a showroom. In order to enhance the customer experience, an intuitive and playful application about the regional public transport system has been created.
The multi-user-multi-touch application is accessible on a table between two rows of seats representing the interior of a train. It serves as an information hub for the public, providing details on the regional transport network such as
- tourist attractions / points of interests (POI) in the region,
- information about passenger traffic,
- available modes of transportation/vehicles,
- facts about TPN & NStCM employees.
Additionally, a historical timeline of the two local transport companies (TPN and NStCM) lets visitors dive into the evolution of the transportation network over the past 100 years. And last but not least, a couple of interactive games for kids and adults alike make sure that everyone has a good time!
