An interactive experience on hydropower in Switzerland
As part of the Experiences of Switzerland – Water, Power and Resistance exhibition, presented at the Swiss National Museum from July 4 to November 2, 2025, and from January 13 to April 26, 2026, Immensive was invited to enhance the visitor experience around the story of Switzerland’s major dams.
Two 65″ multitouch tables host an interactive application that immerses visitors in the technical, human, and social challenges surrounding the construction of these monumental infrastructures. Testimonies from contemporary witnesses, family stories, and key historical events are brought together in an accessible and engaging interface.
The application also features a multilingual quiz designed to facilitate knowledge transfer in a playful way. Up to four players can compete at the same time, encouraging learning through play.
Up to 40,000 interactions (clicks) in a single week clearly show that the application is very well received and generates high engagement.
