Swissmint Shop – First Transparent OLED Multi-Screen Installation in Switzerland

In the heart of Bern, the new Swissmint Shop is taking shape to provide customers with an unforgettable shopping experience. Swissmint, as the official coin mint of Switzerland, is leveraging innovative technology to captivate its customers.

Technology

Immensive was tasked with equipping the Swissmint Shop with a groundbreaking Transparent OLED Multi-Touch Display installation. These displays allow the visitors to view physical exhibits placed within the showcases, while providing relevant information directly on the glass itself.

Scenography

The shop is meticulously designed for the presentation of the coins. Through the integration of three combined screens, an immersive and interactive representation of the Swiss coin world is created. A separate Transparent OLED showcases changing special editions. The dynamic illumination of the exhibited objects,  controlled directly by the interactive application/touch-interface, creates an immersive experience, further directing the visitor’s focus to the unique products.

The Wow Effect

The moment of amazement occurs when customers touch the animated coins and realize that the screen is transparent, allowing them to see the real specimen. This immediate connection between the virtual and physical worlds creates an impressive experience and enhances the bond between the customer and the product in line with the “phygital” approach.
